Understanding LONG, SHORT, FLIP, EXIT signals
A LONG signal indicates a buying opportunity when the indicator predicts price will rise.
• Profit when price increases from entry
• Identifies entry points in uptrends
• Includes target and stop-loss levels
A SHORT signal indicates a selling opportunity when the indicator predicts price will fall.
• Profit when price decreases from entry
• Identifies entry points in downtrends
• Available in futures/margin trading
A FLIP signal means closing your current position and immediately opening an opposite position.
• LONG → SHORT or SHORT → LONG transition
• Occurs at trend reversal points
• Quick position switch to capture opportunities
An EXIT signal means closing your current position without opening a new one.
• Occurs when trend ends or conditions are uncertain
• Take profit or limit losses
• Suggests waiting on the sidelines
